Guided tours for groups with a professional guide

Depending on which region of the operational area of the Balaton Uplands National Park Directorate you would like to visit, we provided guided bus or hiking tours for our guests, interpreting for them the natural and cultural heritage of the area. The guided tours are to be booked in advance and are provided for a guidance fee.  We offer several itineraries on the Tihany Peninsula, Pécsely Basin, Káli Basin, Tapolca Basin, Keszthely Hills, Kis-Balaton, and the Magas-bakony Landscape Protection Area, the Somló Landscape Protection Area and the Mura-menti Landscape Protection Area. Buses with microphone are welcome for the bus guided tours. The duration of the guided tour is usually 3-4 hours. The optimal number of participants of a hiking tour is 20-25 persons.

Please always book your guided tours in advance!

Please agree on the date and time of your planned tour with our colleague responsible for coordinating tours in the given area. The request form (can be downloaded) must be sent to the Directorate by e-mail, mail or fax, at least 2 weeks before the planned tour. The area you wish to visit, the date, number and age of people and your own personal data are to be included. Please fill the form only after having talked it over with our colleague!

Paying for your guided tour
Answering your request, we will send you written information on the guided tour. Name and contacts of the guide and the bank transaction form (or a cheque you can pay at the post office) will also be included.
Guided tours onTihany Peninsula and Kis-Balaton are paid by cash before starting the tour.
