The accommodation of the Balaton Uplands National Park is located in a beautiful forest on the western part of the Tihany Peninsula. It is accessible by car, minibus or a sightseeing mini train, operating in Tihany village (300 HUF/person).

The building provides accommodation for 35 people between 1st March and 31st October. In the attic room 25 beds and two showers provide a comfortable stay for the guests. There are three rooms on the ground floor altogether for 10 people (4-4-2), with two separate shower rooms.
Please bring your sleeping bag, bed-sheet and slippers.
A community or eating room, a nice open terrace, a fire place and covered tables and seats in the garden provides variable possibilities to eat. Well equipped kitchen serve the guests’ comfort. The building gives home to open-air school programmes from autumn till spring.
The Lóczy-Geyserite Nature Trail, which passes the building, and the natural environment provides an excellent opportunity for school groups, family or friends to go for hiking and to relax. The Sajkod beech on the shore of Lake Balaton is nearby (GPS of Sajkod beech: 46.908698, 17.84957).

Fees 

Room for adults: 2,150- HUF/person/day + TAX
Room for students (4-18 years old): 2,000,- HUF/person/day
Attic room for EU citizen full time students: 1,900,- HUF/person/day + TAX
Tourist tax (TAX) in 2012: 450,- HUF/person/day, between the age of 18-70.
Minimal accommodation fee of the building for one night: the accommodation fee of 25 guests.
Minimal accommodation fee of the building for two nights and more: the accommodation fee of 15 guests.
Compensation fee for a reserved but unoccupied day: 10,000,- HUF/day.

If needed, the Tihany Horgásztanya (200 m from the house) provides catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
