Caving tours start on the 3rd Saturday of each month from May until October, only by prior arrangement (min. 6 people).


Admission fees/person:

Basic tour - adult ticket:
3 500 HUF
Basic tour - child ticket (10-18 years):
2 800 HUF
Basic tour - group ticket for adults (from 20 people):
3 000 HUF
Basic tour - group ticket for childrem (from 20 people):
2 500 HUF
Extrem tour - adult ticket (from 18 years):
Under 18 years can't join the extrem tour. There isn't any group tickets too.

Approach of the cave:
As the cave is strictly protected, we approach the cave entrance on foot (an approx 20-minute-long walk from the village) or horse-carriage drive can be arranged (500 HUF/person/there and back).

The visitors over the age of 10 can get acquainted with the formation of the strictly protected cave of Southern Bakony and with the relics of millions of years in overall tours. A time travel under the ground: the visitors can glance into the life of our ancestors living here 4000 years ago. The cave can be approached from the centre of the village in a twenty-minute walk.


Equipment is provided by the National Park Directorate.

Please bring with yourself:
You only need to appear at the base building in the centre of Szentgál village 30 minutes before the tour starts, wearing boots you don’t mind getting dirty and comfortable clothes (old, thin gloves may also be useful).

It is not allowed to take animals in the cave!
